Hi, I watch EWTN a lot throughout the day and at night. I have often wondered how well it does and how many Catholics (or others) in America watch it. Some shows in primetime like The World Over and EWTN LIVE must do ok. Does anybody know how many people watch EWTN or certain shows or what there TV ratings are?? ( I googled this trying to find out but I guess EWTN doesn’t release ratings to the public).

I listen to EWTN radio a lot. I’m not a big TV person.

I watch the world over live and news nightly when I can catch them. I really like saints vs scoundrels and I miss the GK Chesterton series that used to air. Every now and then Scott Hahn has a series focusing in one of his new books and those are enjoyable.

I watch EWTN quite often. I recently converted to Catholicism and they were instrumental in my conversion. My favorite is the Journey Home, the Masses, the special Vatican coverage, etc. I’ve also learned a lot from some of the children’s programming. Their documentary type programs are also interesting - they recently had a program on church architecture. Mother Angelica is a hoot and I love her honesty. Wish I had discovered her earlier.

When I had cable, I used to watch EWTN often. I do miss it. I am reading Mother Angelica’s biography by Raymond Arroyo now. Very interesting.

Maybe the FCC would know? EWTN is global. You may have to think in terms of millions or billions. That being said, I also watch it. 😊

I’ve watched EWTN for no longer than 5 hours. It needs to lose the 1993 public broadcasting style.

It’s there when you are losing your mind, but there is so much work to be done. I would help them update, but they’re probably very crony, as most people assume and why many won’t help the Church with modernization. If not for the web, Catholicism’s media would have died 10 years ago.

I’ll turn it on to watch the Pope do the Urbi ex Orbi (you can get an indulgence if you watch live on the TV) or a Papal Mass or a canonization or some other special Mass.

I’ll confess I’m not really interested in any sort of commentary on there now that Mother Angelica has passed on.

I was first exposed to EWTN and it is ultimately from them that I credit my conversion. I have watched many shoes and listen to the radio online sometimes too. I especially love the Mother Angelica shows and some of the history focused shoes.

I have watched it sometimes, not too much, also listened to several podcasts.
Today, I no longer do.
The program could be more controversial, does not discuss current topics enough in my opinion.
It´s a bit too tame.

I watched it often when Mother Angelica was still on the air.

I enjoyed Fr Dubay’s series on St Teresa of Avila and St John of the Cross.

I started losing interest when she Bishop Foley’s program was cancelled because of a conflict between Mother Angelica and him.

Recently, I watched the program with Mitch Pacwa and Scott Hahn, discussing his new book on the Book of Romans from Scripture.

Does anybody know specific viewship numbers though? Just wondering!

If you have internet, you can get a Roku and watch EWTN, Salt & Lite TV, and Catholic TV live for free

Millions around the world now stream it too, so exact numbers might very hard to calculate now

I am more of a radio guy. I do listen to EWTN radio and the Catholic Channel on Sirius/XM. There are certain presenters on both I avoid though. I am no fan of Raymond Arroyo or Gus Lloyd. Dr. David Anders and Father Larry Richards are my favorites.

I don’t watch EWTN, haven’t gotten interested in it. Is it any good? What do you learn?
