How many readings did they do at your easter vigil

I think the minimum is 4 3 from the OT and the epistle my parish did this

I know my magnificat had 7 plus the epistle so 8

the pope mentioned that the norm was fixed at 7 and depending on the local situation it can be reduced to 3

so did you have 8 or 4

I lost count, lol, but I’d guess we probably had 8.
 
My Church had the first Easter Vigil they ever did. It was awesome!!
We had 8 readings, I honestly dont remember them all.
Creation, Noah, Exodus, Ezekial, Story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
Well I remembered 5 not bad 😃
Ours lasted more then 2 hours. It was one of the best services I have ever been to. Will definitely be going every year from now on!
 
Our Easter Vigil was 4 hours long…7 OT readings, 2 NT readings, Gospel and Psalms between each of them…25 people were baptized by complete immersion which was really great to see. I had never seen that done before and at least another 20 entered into full communion with the Church. Very long but worth every minute to experience! Began with the bonfire outside and went into the dark church where we lit our candles. Reading were done with all lights off except for the ambo…very effective and the music was incredible. We are blessed with a pastor with a PHD in Liturgy and it shows!
 
We had 7 readings, 1 epistle, the gospel and the psalms in between. The mass lasted for three hours and ended at 11pm. I am amazed that our 5 priests were able to celebrate the vigil mass and was still able to attend our Easter dawn mass at 4am the next day.

This is what we had, too. We had four baptisms, about 8 new Catholics who received First Communion and Confirmation, and there were 3 of us who were already Catholic but hadn’t received First Communion and/or Confirmation as children. It started at 8:00 PM and it finished right around 10:30.
 
We had four. I read the First Reading…the extremely long creation story…for the second year in a row.
 
In my parish we had the 1st, 3rd and 5th of the Old Testament readings. But instead of the psalm and prayer associated with each reading, we had a hymn with no prayer after each. Don’t know why.
