Are you wearing masks? Are you visiting friends or family yet? Have you been going to restraunts if they are open for you yet?

I only go outside once a week. The convenience store is just a block away, so I don’t have to go far. When I’m in line to buy stuff, I stay away from the person in front of me (maybe a meter or so, I don’t know). When I get back home, I make sure to use hand sanitizer. Most restaurants in my area aren’t open yet, but there are fast food places, like McDonald’s and KFC, who allow us to use the drive-thru.

I do what the law requires.
Are you wearing masks?
When the law requires it, yes. Otherwise, generally no.

Some shops “strongly recommend” wearing a mask while on the premises. If the situation makes it difficult to maintain the distance required by law, I wear a mask even if it isn’t mandatory.
Are you visiting friends or family yet?
I can visit my friends, but for various reasons have not yet.

I cannot visit my family because I’m restricted to an area within 100 km (62 miles) from my home and all of my family live outside this radius.

Restaurants are not yet open for consumption on the premises (dine-in). Some drive-thrus reopened when we started coming out of lockdown, but I have not yet availed myself of this possibility. Meal delivery and takeaway (take-out) never stopped, and we have been ordering in about once a week since lockdown began.

I wear a mask and gloves when I go out to Walmart, which is once a week and for no more than 25 minutes. I stay away from others while there. My wife and I are staying at home and going nowhere. We both work from home, so we are in good shape. My wife’s lector mentor drives up ever weekend to give us the host and some food she prepared. The exchange is safe.

Not only are we practicing social distancing, we are practicing common sense.

Pretty much ultimate social distancing (I’m high-risk). I haven’t been out of the house in 75 days, other than to put out the trash/recycling or to bring in delivered packages. I use an online shopping service, and a neighbor picks up a few things for me. Anything I need that is not sold in the supermarket, I get via mail order. I work from home, so that is business as usual. Mass is not available to the public here yet, but Communion after Mass will start next week. I will probably be doing live stream/Spiritual Communion for a while, though.

As much as possible. I have to go to the office once a week. But the other companies in the building are mostly shut down for the duration, and we have our own offices. We also have to check our temperatures every morning and record them.
Other than that, I’ve been doing curbside pickup for groceries; go to the post office on off-hours when there’s less likely to be anyone there; and wear a mask if there’s any doubt I’ll be able to social distance.
And I live out in the country, where there are no neighbors close enough to cough or sneeze on me.

Yes, when I go out. Yes, family, but not friends. Yes, went to Steak & Shake and got cheese fries. And I am completely fine with everyone being six feet away from me.

I wear a mask at the store and church. I social-distance, including my first visit to family yesterday - I went around their house to visit with them on their lanai. Things are loosening up here but I’m being careful. I’ve no great desire for restaurants, but I would really like to take a cruise this year, perhaps this November.

We live in a very rural area with several acres of open land between neighbors. We aren’t social butterflies, anyway, and while we know some of our neighbors, we don’t visit them. Most of the people out here just want to be left alone, but if they need help, usually someone will help them.

Our state’s restrictions haven’t been nearly as draconian as in some other states, we are being trusted more to use common sense.

I obtained most of my garden plants this season through my favorite mail-order nurseries. Hubby bought me a couple of well-started Snapdragons from the garden center of a large home improvement and hardware store (declared an essential business). I HAVE to have Snapdragons! He also got me my bags of compost and potting soil from the same garden center.

Other than that, we do our communicating over the phone or by e-mail or written correspondence, i.e. greeting cards.

No, we don’t wear masks, and we do practice social distancing when out in public. And, we wash our hands thoroughly and frequently.

BTW, our county has had NO cases of Corona Virus.
