Do you mean that Jesus was forced by the events or by the scriptures (written decades later) for death. That would only prove that Jesus was put on Cross without his own free will.

No,Jesus was not forced. Jesus’ free will was in union with the will of his Father in heaven. And the scriptures Jesus referred to are in the Old Testament, written hundreds of years earlier.

Hi
Even that is not correct. Jesus was not happy with what was happening with him, though his disciples did not pray as he wished, yet he was praying to GodAllahYHWH to save him from the Cup. The state of his mind , what you depict, just does not fit on the Jesus on Cross, he did not mention of anybody else’s sins on the Cross, he prayed for his life only.
Please quote his words on the Cross that he talked for other’s sins on the Cross, in support of your claim. There is none, I think.
Thanks

"IT IS FINISHED’

The Catholics don’t believe Jesus (and the Word of GodAllahYHWH revealed on Jesus); they believe blindly, **😊 not a good choice of words I called protestants blind,I appoligize for that, and that is not a good choice of word but sepperated brethren is better. of which you are from us **excuse me, whatever creed the Catholic Clergy have approved of for them.
I however respect your faith, which is more of a blind faith, rather than being research oriented. I love Jesus and Mary.
Jesus was the Lamb of God became the Lion of Judah

The altar was broken

By the order of Mechesidach Jesus( son) had no Father and No mother became flesh and then assended to be reunited with The Father to become one.

1st Cross 2nd Dead 3rd Rose again no ifs ands or buts

Paul stated Jesus came for all mankind not just Jew or Gentile, He came to make a new nation so God changed the nation so it could be a nation without blemish.

Jesus was the ONE sacrafice Lamb of God without blemish .Jesus became flesh to rise and become united with the Father. To become one again

In Hebrew law there was one day only one day a year where a lamb was sacraficed an unblemished lamb on the altar.

Jesus abolished the one sacrafice by his death on the altar He became the One.

The altar was broken the ground was broken the blood cried out .

The veil is torn don’t sew it up again

“It is finished”

These words are from my dh and I do have to leave for work soon so won’t be able to get back to you!

Paarasurrey you rock, I love Jesus too!

HAPPY 4TH TO ALL

You don’t know what you are talking about.

When Jesus was on the cross he said,“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing”. Luke 23,34.

And Jesus said to the criminal on the cross next to him who believed in him,“Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise”. Luke 23,39-43.

You should read the Bible before you make such claims. You are showing yourself to be very foolish.

Hi
Please don’t accuse Jesus in this way; it would mean that Jesus committed suicidal death with the collaboration of the Jews. It is incorrect, as even to the last moment Jesus prayed to be saved from the Cup. I love Jesus and Mary.
Thanks

So, it is all confusion in Catholicism, in my opinion, which would remain there if they don’t think rationally, logically and reasonably.
I however respect your faith, which is more of a blind faith, rather than being research oriented.
Commit? Means you can retract sacrafice means you are over the edge and it is not just the body but also the spirit.

It was the fourth cup, look this up. dh again

I could illustrate with being pregnant but you wouldn’t understand because you are not a woman and men do not understand women as far as I see. me:) i’m late:shrug:

My humble yet profound experience of Catholic Faith: first comes faith, next experience and then knowledge.

Sadly but not unsurprisingly 😉 God does not give science the building blocks through which to research revealed truths. 😛

Not science, of course… but I would say reason. Think about it… if people were only honest with themselves rather than being so concerned about remaining in their comfort zones, you wouldn’t see nearly as much of the repeated logical blunders that people always cling to when they defend their beliefs.

Examples: Sola Scriptura (which directly contradicts itself), and Mohammed being “Allah’s messenger” (based on a blind assumption).

Strangely enough, I think the process went in the exact opposite direction for me! 😃 I do believe that God can work in different ways for different people, though.
