How often do you pray the rosary?

I pray the rosary at least once a day. Generally, during the week, I’ll take a walk on the 1.125 mile path at work, and pray it once while I’m walking, then again at night before bed. I’ve missed once or twice, but now it’s part of my routine, so the next day I’m back at it. I originally was praying it only a few times a year, if that, but when I started watching EWTN on my laptop in the evening, I felt kind of weird listening to the nuns praying the rosary and not joining them.

How about trying 1 little step at a time. There are 5 days a week, you can start saying 1 decade per day. By Friday, you will finish the entire Rosary. I had done that before.

Or, you can find some friends who want to split up the Rosary and pray with you. I pray Rosary myself, but at the same time I pray 3 decades and another friend of mine finish the other 2. Two of us finish 1 Rosary a day.

this may sound dopey-but I never thought you could break it up like that. I might be able to get through a whole one if I broke it up into 5 parts over the course of the day…
 
Well, I wanted to come back and say thank you because you all inspired me. I said an entire Rosary on the way home from work yesterday and I didn’t have a problem at all. The bonus was that I arrived home in a GREAT mood and got a lot done!! I’m looking forward to my commute home tonight!!
 
First, I must begin by saying that a couple years ago, the subject of the rosary somehow came up in a class at school (a public school). The teacher asked if anyone could explain it. I did not raise my hand b/c I could not have given a decent explanation at that time. And I am a cradle Catholic. Shame on me!😊

This spring I was reading True Devotion to Mary by St. Louis De Montfort and he encourages praying, in addition to the Little Crown of the Blessed Virgin, the rosary every day. I quote him from the book: “At the moment of your death you will bless the day and the hour in which you followed my advice.” Hmmm…ever since I read that, it’s been a daily rosary! Many, many times I know I’ve stopped everything to watch a favorite TV show – and look how much more important the rosary is!!

I realize now how wonderful a model Mary is for me and how the rosary is a great start in trying to imitate her. I also realize how much sin needs atonement on a daily basis and I think this can help. As others have suggested, I usually have a specific intention when I pray the rosary and I know it has the potential to do great good for others!👍

Thank you for sharing this with us. Many will come to pray the Rosary. Definitely, the Rosary helps others those who are alive here and those in the Purgatory.
 
During May we try a family rosary in the evening, when possible. So far so good.
