How open about my Catholic faith can I be in Saudi Arabia?

Dear Moderator,

I signed a contract to work in Saudi Arabia for 11 months–a decision that I feel uncomfortable about now.

After searching the internet, I learned that there Christianity is not allowed. People are not allowed to bring personal stuff like a bible or even a rosary.

Is there a way of bringing my rosary into the country, or Catholic community to gather once in a while even it is underground?

Dear Salomon,

I would advise you to keep your devotions interiorly. Any outward sign of your religion, if discovered, could get you killed. Next time think twice about spending time in such a country.
