When did the Methodist prayer service change? I grew up in the United Methodist church. I don’t remember beginning with “May the Lord be with you” nor do I remember closing with “Peace be with you”. Yet, I was snooping around my old church’s website and found the Sunday service bulletin beginning and ending with those prayers 
I spent some time on their site (fumc-orl.org/about/beliefs.php) and I have to admit, it sounds so much different than when I went. (I was a member for about 10 years before falling away).
To my protestant brothers and sisters: do your church’s list your beliefs in this manner?
