I’d wanted to be able to go to confession tomorrow afternoon (most likely in my only opportunity for the next three weeks) so as to receive on Sunday morning and for Christmas Eve. I’m pretty sure there’s a need for it. My parents can’t give me a ride (I have no license yet), so my friend is taking me.
Before this news, the parents were going to take me to mass twice on Sunday, because they’re awesome like that, but now they are only going in the afternoon for Christmas Eve because “you’re the only one that cares about that”. I feel like I should skip tomorrow and make it so they have to go twice, but at the same time I really think I need to go tomorrow for my own sake. What ought I to do?

You only MUST go to Reconciliation if you’re aware of having committed a mortal sin. (O ye wise ones, correct me if I’m wrong.)
Sunday is a day of obligation, and so is Christmas day. So we must go twice this weekend: either Saturday vigil mass or Sunday morning, plus Christmas “midnight” mass or Christmas day.
So we can go on Saturday night and Monday morning, or twice on Sunday, or on Sunday morning and Monday morning.

Perhaps if you explain this to your parents they’ll take you. If not, if you don’t have a ride from a friend and it’s too far to walk, it’s not a sin to miss. But hopefully they’ll want to take you if you explain that it’s one of the most beautiful feast days of the year.
My family gives me a hard time about it too. Luckily, I’m the one with the car and the license.

I know Seattle has a pretty good mass transit system. Perhaps you could figure out the way by bus. Make it your own pilgrimage even if it takes you a long time to get there.

Here’s a link to King County Metro trip planner. Good luck.
