How should We Pray for the Souls in Purgatory?

Are there any suggestions on how to pray for the souls in Purgatory? Does the Catholic Church have any specific official prayers for that situation? I know we’re supposed to pray for them to be released sooner basically, but what is a good example of a more in depth prayer for them?
 
We pray for the souls of the Faithful Departed during the Liturgy of the Eucharist at every Mass. Also, the month of November is dedicated to the Holy Souls in Purgatory. You’ll find a collection of prayers for the Holy Souls here.
