The question is valid, “How much more do we have to take from the church until we have had enough?” The odd part of this question is that many of those asking this are Christian’s. It seems they’re tired of distorted images defining who and what they are, and deciding how the world views them.
Too many Christian’s are becoming fed up with Fox News or Pat Robertson and his 700 Club being the face of Christianity.
This age of information has informed it’s constituents that evangelicalism, as we know it, is no longer thriving, but is in fact dying (I’ve listed statistics else where to show this numerically, you can read those here and here). With the ability to share, and transfer information to anyone, anywhere, at any point in time, freely and without restriction, it’s exposed secrets in which the Church was formerly able to hide with ease.

But yet, with all the info available now, people still believe what they wish.
CAF is a testimony to this.

AMEN and in spite of the fact that we Catholics have the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church to teach us and guide us with Christ’s TRUTHS and Sacraments. Seems as tho many think pleasure on this earth is more important than the Joys of Eternal Life. To many Catholics are picking and choosing what to believe or they go somewhere else to be able to do what they want( or so they think). This is the Year of MERCY and I pray for the return of ALL fallen away and lukewarm Catholics to return to the TRUTH. God Bless, Memaw

Of the three listed examples of the "face of Christianity ", I doubt Amy one of them is a good example, and in at least one case, any example at all.

The Catholic Church, a MUCH better example, wasn’t listed.

The original hypothesis, however, is true in as much as the Internet is surely a major contributing factor to general decline. All swords have two edges. We need to sharpen the edge that is the good side of the internet.

Blessings,
Stephie
