For those non-Americans here who do not understand the glorious flavor of pumpkin and how it is rightfully meant by direct orders from God to belong in almost everything: pumpkin beer is where it is at.

Also, for your viewing pleasure, I have included a picture of a pig at the end of this post. I do not know the pig’s name. For artistic purposes, I name him/her cat. Here is a picture of cat:


Cat’s favorite color is blue and she likes to take long walks on the beach. She is single but is hoping that will change soon. She just hasn’t met the right kind of boar.

All I want in the fall is a good hard cider. My husband thinks he’s getting the better deal with all the pumpkin beer, and I let him think that, because it means more cider for me. 😃
 
I can’t say I’m a huge fan of pumpkin beer. It’s OK, but it isn’t enough for me to look forward to it as part of the season the same way I may look forward to some of the winter beers.

This heresy was definitively squashed at the Council of Munich (729 A.D.), and pumpkin beer declared anathema. Pope Gordo would later draft the oft-cited exhortation, Gaudium de Cucurbita (768 A.D.), on the theology of the pumpkin and its proper uses.

pumpkin pie and pumpkin pie are likely not even pumpkin, but squash
 
Whatever you do, don’t tell me there’s no fruit in Kellogg’s Froot Loops, since I count on them to get my recommended five servings of fruit per day.

It makes a good smoothie too. The trouble is I can’t find a good way to make it without sugar. Maybe if I bought a pumpkin instead of the canned puree, but that’s too much work for smoothies.
OP, I’m going to start looking for pumpkin brews! This is the time of year for it. 🍺
