When someone who describes themselves as looking for something of meaning, or trying to “Find Answers” and is not religious but is interested in catholicism what is the best approach?

we talked tonight shared some personal stories and I offered to lend her my “Catholicism for Dummies” book as a start

any other suggestions?

By What Authority? by Mark P Shea; Crossing the Tiber by Stephen Ray and One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic, by Kenneth D Whitehead. And of course the books by Scott Hahn.

Send them to these forums and have them just look around at anything that interests them.

Even though he’s not Catholic, I recommend C.S. Lewis’ books Mere Christianity and Surprised by Joy. They make a good start for people who are not religious but are looking for more meaning.

Lewis book starts with

Right and wrong as a clue to the meaning of the universe

that may get your persons attention, I agree.
