How to deal with Scientology as a Catholic

Could someone please let me know how the Catholic Church views Scientology?

I am concerned because I am attending some training until next Fall 2009 based on the teachings of Mr. Hubbard. I am worried that without my being aware of it I am being indoctrinated into Scientology.

My employer has paid alot of money for this training and it is nonrefundable.

Please help!!!

You cannot be serious…I would never as a Catholic go to ANY Scientology or any other cult religion. You will be brainwashed.

Oh my, your employer wants to force you to attend some kind of Dianetics-type thing? Or did/do you have a choice? Or were you asked without informing you of what the nature of the “training” would be?

I might leave a job over something like that.

The Church sees Scientology as it really is, a false religion.

You must object on religious grounds, anything (I mean anything) based on the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard is without exception, a tool for indoctrination into his cult.
