How to Defeat Drag Queen Story Hour & Other Dangers at Your Local Library

Library? I think the way to defeat this is like defeating the transgender guild that represents wagonmasters. Or a story hour at a blockbuster video.
 
I think the way to defeat it is start a Story Hour in your parish, or even in your home. I realize that there are probably permits that have to be obtained, and you have to prove that you’re not a sex offender, and probably have to take some kind of class (online?) that trains you in how to protect children from sex offenders and other people who want to hurt them.

But even if it’s just your kids and a friend’s kids, that’s a story hour. I would go with small children, if my choices were a drag queen or you. 😃
 
The dangers at my library are realizing I have an unpaid book fine & no cash on hand when I want to check out and soft tissue damage from carrying to many books home.
 
Our libraries have stopped fines. I just got an overdue notice in my email yesterday and I’m like, dang, what are you gonna do now that you cant fine me. Our mayor wants millions to rebuild a perfectly fine downtown library? Why?
 
The electronic things, Overdrive and Hoopla Digital, are perfect for me because everything returns on its own 🙂

Ah, but we’re supposed to be using the library because it’s frugal!
 
I liked it better when it had books and card catalogs and no computers. My brother goes to the library and only checks out movies and music.
 
Maybe make a poster saying that Claire’s Boutique is having a 50% off sale on lipstick?🤣

I have that issue myself. Ah, yes. I miss the days of normalcy.
