Hey everyone. How do I evangelize others when the papers I place out for everyone to read are just going to get ripped up?
Oh okay. Thanks. We’ll God reward me for the persecution of getting the papers ripped up?Keep doing it.
“A slave is not greater than his master.” You never know who those papers might reach, and God has a really strange way of going about things. They might get ripped up or tossed in the trash, and the trash man drops it and opens up what he dropped, or perhaps just a little piece of that paper didn’t get ripped up.
We can’t become discouraged by our efforts. We’re not called to try our hardest then give up when we hit a road block, but to continue no matter what.
Who knows. That’s between you and God, and I suppose the state of grace you’re in. But, I do know that it doesn’t go overlooked. I wouldn’t ever stop. Our work is discouraging in it’s nature. But we have to remember, the world hated Him too. So, let’s keep on running the race, to reach the prize.Oh okay. Thanks. We’ll God reward me for the persecution of getting the papers ripped up?
Why do you think leaving papers out for people to read is evangilization?Hey everyone. How do I evangelize others when the papers I place out for everyone to read are just going to get ripped up?
Why do you question someone’s idea of evangilization, when it’s been proven to work? Why do you think leaving papers out for people to read is evangilization?
Does it work before or after they are ripped up?Why do you question someone’s idea of evangilization, when it’s been proven to work?
Just because you’re not a fan of it doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. I’m not a fan of Dr. Pepper, but that doesn’t make it any less delicious to those who do. You can’t question someone’s style or motives. They do what they do to please God, and that’s all that matters. And we certainly shouldn’t be putting anyone down for wishing to do only what our Lord commanded us to do.Does it work before or after they are ripped up?
I would suggest that living one’s life in such a way that others want to know your secret is a more successful strategy for evangilization. I have never been a fan of leaving tracts places for people to find.
Different people are called to do different things. Do you think that writing papers somehow precludes living a holy life that attracts others?Does it work before or after they are ripped up?

use another technique since this does not work–is not even a very successful way to do any kind of advertising, PR, or persuasion. find something that does work in your current situation. a lived faith and continuing conversion and the example of a happy CAtholic is alwasy the best evangelization. sometimes just leaving pamphlets can be an excuse to avoid a personal encounter, one on one, which sometimes is a better tactic.Hey everyone. did you get permission to put the papers there in the first place?Hey everyone. How do I evangelize others when the papers I place out for everyone to read are just going to get ripped up?
We can’t, unless we speak with him. But that’s a risk that comes with evangelization. It’s not a reason to stop evangelizing, in whatever way is best. Also, how do we know if the person who is ripping them up was not hurt by someone in the church in some way?
