How to go to confession during the week?

This occurred to me earlier: What are some tips to spiritual prepare before confession?

For example, the only times I can go to confession in my local church are Saturday and Sunday, before Mass.

If someone is in a state of mortal sin, are they supposed to go about their daily life, pray, etc. anyway?

In other words, how is someone in a state of mortal sin that has a few days to wait before confession, what are they to do?

Depending where you live, there might be religious orders or shrines that have weekday confession times. Otherwise you could always call your parish priest and make an appointment to go to confession.
