Im in tenth grade and ive been talking to a 9th grade atheist girl and after talking to her for a long time she has finally opened up to me telling me why she’s atheist. She is emo right now and has few friends. But she told me in the old city she used to live in she had only really 2 friends one was a girl who was a real devout Christian and she had a father who was in an insane aslyum. Her friend’s father escaped the asylum and killed her friend and her friends mom and he said that God told him to do it. Her friend was under a bed in her house writing and left a note asking God to save her. but she was murdered. My friend says God didnt save her friend. she also says that her best friend was taken from her. I told her well first of all God did save her he took her Home he saved her from more suffering here on earth. also i told her you cant judge Christianity on a crazy man who escaped a asylum he was medically crazy how can we trust him when he says he heard it from God. He is crazy. I did though say all of this with reverance and care. I Pray for her and i try to help her but what are some good things to also tell her about this. How else can i explain that God still loves her and her friend. What are some more good arguments.
