How to honor Mother Mary in May?

I was wondering what are some ways to honor our heavenly mother in May?

Many of the old forms have gone by the wayside but there’s still a lot of great ways to tell Our Lady that we love her… Just a few to get this thread rolling:
  1. The Marian Prayers… if you’ve had favorites and let them go by the wayside recently, dust them off and start praying. My wife and i always try to end our days with the memorare (Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary…) because we both loved it growing up.
  2. Images of Our Mother… if you have a favorite statue or icon of the Blessed Mother, put them in a more prominent place during the month of May.
  3. Marian shrines… everywhere I’ve been (and i’m in the Navy) there’s always some place where Our Lady is honored. It might be the back corner of some small chapel or a grand Basilica but it’s worth it to pay a visit during the month of May.
    Hope these suggestions help!

Thanks JoeyC for the great suggestions. I’ll probably get roses for Her during this month. Interiorly, we could honor her by trusting in Her care in all things that we pray, act, think, and ask her to intercede for us to our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I switch my Liturgy of the Hours for my Little Office of the Blessed Virgin in May (a great devotion to take up if LOTH scares you a little - it eases you into it).

I love it. I am going to have to look up some Marian prayers. I seem to only pray Hail Holy Queen and the Hail Mary especially daily when I pray the rosary.
If you have any favorites please post.

I just discovered Our Lady Of Mental Peace prayer card–I really need that right now. Has anyone else heard of her?

Pray the rosary!!

Give some rosaries to the elderly & invalids in nursing homes & hospitals.

And, even if you don’t think you have a single ;)crafty bone in your body, try making some rosaries for missions. There are so many who would pray if only they had a rosary of their own!!
