How to know God's will for your life?

Hi, my question is very simple : How to know God’s will for your life ?
What are we to do when we are about 20 and wonder about our future.
Should I go this way or this way ? This job or this one ? Priestly life or married life ?

I think one thing we all have to do is pray. St. Paul tells us in 1 Thess 5:17 to “Pray without ceasing.” The Lord is faithful and he will answer our prayers; we have his word about that in Mt 7:7; “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Lastly I would recommend to you Proverbs 3:5-6; “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths”

I find that its in what is totally unexpected and way out of left field.
