How to make pagans convert

On the internet [especially YouTube] I am trying to make pagans and people of the occult convert and turn their life to God. It is really frustrating because no matter what I do they won’t convert, I tell them what they are doing is very bad in a nice manner but they still don’t believe me. All I can do now is keep them in my prayers, I do not want my siblings to be casted into The Lake of Fire 😦
 
I understand how you feel. However, it’s an individual’s decision as to whether to become a Christian or not.

I think two of the best ways to evangelize are friendship evangelism and lifestyle evangelism. Both of these played a role in my decision to come to Christ. Friends invited me to their Christian group and I found Jesus there. I saw Christians serving Jesus and loving neighbors as themselves and I was attracted to that.

Maybe you can ask these people if they have any prayer requests and pray for those. Reach out to them in friendship. Tell them God loves them and you do too.
 
I understand your concern but you cannot “make” someone convert. It is simply not possible. A person has to come to God on their own in their own time. If you try and make someone believe the way you do, you will only sow resentment and discord and close their minds to your message all together.
 
I just don’t want too many of my sisters and brothers going to Hell but it is what it is… whenever I tell them to convert to the one true faith, they say something like ‘‘Heaven and Hell are delusions, they are not real. God would not send us to hell, stop with your christian nonsense’’ it is annoying because it IS real, I have been involved in this occult, but they do not know what they are messing with, they are messing with demons, Satan loves it when we break God’s rules… ever since I have gotten out of the occult, I see Satan try to push me more with his ‘signs’ I see everyday but when I ignore them, I feel his anger and that makes me happy. The only person I want to be close with is God and the saints, and people may not know it but they are sort of in a way worshipping The Devil in the occult. Us humans fall easy into manipulative stuff, the more they get involved with the occult, the more they will be closer to Satan indirectly or directly, it makes me sad. We do all we can to warn them but I understand, when I was involved in the occult christians were warning me but I did not listen. Sometimes I want to push harder to convert them but like you all say, you can’t!

I’d walk away at that point. in fact, my initial reaction was to stop reading.

you might possibly show someone what a Christian life is like and maybe he’ll be attracted, but you can’t lecture someone and expect success.

internet pagans are basically drama queens and live for confrontations. its how they get to feel “persecuted” without actually being persecuted. very few take them seriously, one group that does is people trying to covert them. the “us against them” drama is a time honored way of building group cohesion. being a wicken or playing with weegee boards is just a stage, they’ll outgrow it.

Yes, I understand, I should just leave them alone but there are people who commit suicide because of this occult. It is very dangerous. I never realized how depressed I was in the occult until I got out. Christianity changed my life… these demons are influencing them, they don’t understand!
 
I see how you feel, OP, but arguing over YouTube is a waste of time.

You can pray for them, but you can’t “make” anyone convert to anything. Instead, be as attractive a Christian as you can be, by being the sort of person who is fun to be around and who gets joy from her faith, and they might decide that they want some of what you have.

Lecturing doesn’t work, though, and trying to “make” people do anything doesn’t work. They have to want to do it. All you can do is give them good reasons why they would want to. (Telling people who don’t believe in Hell that they might go to Hell is not going to work, ever.)
 
I know:( I just want to at least help a little. I don’t like doing the ‘I told you so’ kind of thing but they are obviously messing with the wrong people. When I was in paganism, I used to create accounts on forums, and people would say they worship ‘Lilith’ LILITH??? the mother of demons?? I was scared to death. I couldn’t even sleep that night. Why would somebody worship THE MOTHER OF DEMONS?? Are they crazy [no offense]?
 
When I was Wiccan I worshipped Diana and the moon. But I came to the conclusion that Wicca was false on my own. The more people pushed at me to convert the harder I pushed back and became deeper involved in my coven.

No one can make someone convert. I know this has been said already in other responses but you also have to remember that God gave us free will. We are allowed to choose by God - who are you to “tell” someone to convert?
If God can step back and say to them, I am here when you’re ready, then nobody can push them. Step back, show them the way by how you live.
“Preach the Gospel always. When necessary, use words.”
Best advice that can be offered here I think.
 
Live a just example, be friendly/helpful/respectful, and above all, plant even just a seed or inkling of the Faith to get their minds rolling and thinking. The other posters are right - you can’t make someone convert, because then it’s not genuine and it wouldn’t work anyway. Lead by example, and let their own minds and the Holy Spirit do the rest.
 
You CANNOT FORCE a person to convert to or from any religion, but I would still talk to this person with KINDNESS, gently.
 
I understand and I am being kind to them as well. I will not try to make them convert, that is The Holy Spirit’s job 😉
 
It bears repeating: you can’t make them. The harder people are pushed to abandon their faith, the harder they dig their heels in. Simply telling someone, “You’re wrong,” isn’t going to convince them anymore than one of them coming here and announcing, “You’re all wrong! Join Wicca, the true faith,” is going to sway any of us.

Live your life, live your faith. Speak the truth in kindness when asked. It really does make a difference.

Pray for them. Fast. Offer sacrifices and novenas.
 
The Apostle Paul had a deep concern for the Jews, yet he was called to minister to the Gentiles. Sometimes we just have to trust God that He will send laborers into the fields that are trained on how to reap that type of harvest.

I would say pray for the pagans, and seek God for the job that He wants you to do in His kingdom. 👍
