How to Paint a Homily by the Rules of Art

I just would like to know how is this going to get better.

here is new Altar that has been built not to long ago.

I’m not sure what your post has to do with homilies (which is the topic of this thread), but I can’t help but comment on the two pictures:

The first thing that struck me in the first picture is, A SQUARE ALTAR??? And chairs instead of pews??? No elevated sanctuary? No crucifix? But as I read the caption, it said this is a chapel. Seems like a rather large chapel. Apparently a chapel doesn’t have to follow the requirements of a church (i.e. elevated sanctuary and a crucifix)?

In the second picture, the main thing that struck me is, the sanctuary is up 3 steps, and yet it doesn’t seem very elevated.
