How to pray more intentionally for husband and son

We have been going through some rough patches lately and I would like to pray for my son, who is 6 and very stubborn, and husband who is too.
I need to be more consistent to help them have a more peaceful relationship. Also, so we can have a more peaceful home.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Id recommend praying the divine mercy chaplet…also pray for the souls in purgatory and ask them to pray and intercede for your son and husband, click on the link in my signature in this post and read how they have helped those who pray for them
 
I’m so glad you’re praying now while your son is young. Mine is 19 and still living at home, so I have had the opportunity to make up for the time I wasted when he was younger. I have put green scapulars underneath both hubby’s and son’s mattresses and everyday I pray for myself and for each of them, “Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen.” The green scapular is the scapular of conversion. Son has stopped going to Mass, while hubby goes weekly but has lost faith. I also pray to St. Monica every night, who prayed daily for the conversion of her husband and son. I see little graces that the Holy Spirit is indeed working on them.
