And please remember that they aren’t politicians running for reelection, one valid complaint from an observer ought to carry the same weight as ten thousand identical complaints, if its something which is truly an abuse and not just an acceptable variation.

If Pope John Paul II did fully know of world clergy abuses, Church paid hush money, and Bishop movement of sexual preditor priests into new unsuspecting parishes, why did he not use his mass media news access to warn us to protect our children? The Vatican many times used mass media access to speak out to protect one person, Terri Schiavo.

If the Pope is going to make the Bishops fully responsible, I think he is going to have to share the Catholic big gun of Anathema (the Christ given power to “hold sins bound”) with them so they can blast the wicked to protect the flock. Instead Pope John Paul changed Church law disallowing Bishops from even defrauking evil priests. Doesent this make Bishops into Maybary’s deputy Barney who was not allowed to have bullits for his gun.

There are third world counties where their is no civil justice system in place to protect children from clergy sexual preditors. What ever level of Church Heiarchy is responsible for the protection of the flock, Bishop, Cardinal or Pope, that person has to have access to the Catholic big guns like anathema, excommunication and defrauking to blast the wicked clergy child molesters to hell to protect the flock.

It is good that victims of Church abuse have access to the highest levels of the Church to report Church abuses and hold them accountable to make sure the flock is properly protected.

I need to write one because some priest in the Eastern Diocese of Great Falls are way out of touch. They want change just for the heck of it. It is so bad that it is almost worst to go to mass than skipping it there in that parish. Luckily I don’t live there, but the people who do, may God help them.
