How does one go about starting a mission for a certain rite to come to your area. For example if I wanted a Russian Greek Catholic priest to come to my area how do I do that? If it’s possible! Thank you and God bless!

Through the Catholic bishop that has jurisdiction in the area. Also consider if it is to be for Latin Catholic or eastern Catholic, or mixed.

The first step would be to find one of the seven or eight Russian Catholic priests in existence and convince them to come

There’s St. Andrew Russian Greek Catholic church in El Segundo CA. Google them.
