I want to give something to or do something for someone to give them heartfelt thanks for setting the example the is ultimately what I needed to re-engage my faith and return to the Church. I really feel like I need something that expresses to and will remind this person of the contribution she has made in my life, but I do not have any idea what to do. I am looking for any suggestions, I feel the need to “get this right”, so to speak, because this person coming into my life was truly a gift. She will be leaving soon and moving on to make a mark on other peoples’ lives, undoubtedly, and she deserves to know this in a way that leaves no question about the magnitude but also exactly what that contribution is. Any thoughts?

Definitly have a Mass said for her. It would be easier to suggest something that she can carry through life to remind her of you if you could tell us something about her like is she a member of an order etc

No, not a member of an order or anything like that. Just a regular person, mid-20s, going off to school after being in this area for a few years.

Maybe a very special of her patron saint. If her name is very common you might think of something else, I can’t tell you how many statues of St. Michael the Archangel my oldest son has. 🙂

Or a generous gift card at Amazon.
