I recently bought The little office of the Blessed Virgin Mary however after having a brief look, I am confused as to how/when to recite it. Could someone give an explanation of how I’m supposed to do it?
Theoretically, there are times of the day when which you are supposed to recite the various hours. I, too, have a copy but since my day does not always allow for that flexibility, I may sometimes double (or even triple up) on the reading/reciting of the hours. I use it more as a devotion to the BVM, of which I have quite a solid one. The way I reason it is that She will be pleased with any soul that places an importance on it’s relationship with Her.
