How would our redemption have occurred if Israel was obedient?

If Israel had been obedient, driving the Canaanites out of the Promised Land and being faithful to the Covenant, no external enemy could have ever conquered them, and the Israelites would have embraced the Messiah as their King. How then, would He have redeemed us? It could not have been necessary that many were lost, for God desires the salvation of all and provides all the necessary grace to attain it.

Nobody really possesses God’s middle knowledge, so nobody knows the answer to this question. Things happened the way they did because this is the predestined order of grace God laid out from eternity.
