How would you interpret 2 Timothy 2:13?

I saw someone on twitter say this verse is proof that once saved always saved and that all our sins were washed away on the cross with no need to repent. I wonder what the catholic interpretation of this verse is

2nd TIMOTHY 2:11-13 11 The saying is sure:
If we have died with him,
we shall also live with him;
12 if we endure, we shall also reign with him;
if we deny him, he also will deny us;
13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful—
for he cannot deny himself.

Notice Jesus can deny us and yet still remain faithful to His promises.

We must affirm (not deny) Jesus and we must “endure” in that affirmation.
