My husband had a job interview this morning that seemed to go very well. (He’s laid off right now.) He’s supposed to get a call back tomorrow to set up an interview with the plant manager. It’s a little bit less then what he was making before he got laid off but it’s definately better then anything we’ve seen out there and overtime is supposed to be pretty regular.

I’m trying not to get too excited incase things don’t work out but I really hope things go well.

If you could remember us in your prayers we’d very much appreciate it.

Know that I am including you and your husband in my prayers. I am certain things will work out. I too am currently searching for a new position. It is a hard thing, creating some sleepless nights and identity problems. It is common to have someone ask, “so what do you do”. Having been through this a few times and I have decided not to disclose to others my situation this time around. What they don’t know won’t hurt them, yet their reaction may hurt me. Fortunately, I have a loving and supportive Wife. I love her so much and know that I am so blessed! She keeps my spirits up as I face each new day of looking, especially in the middle of the gloomy winter. I just did a search and found that there is a patron Saint for the unemployed and jobseekers. His name(s): Cajetan the Theatine; Cajetan of Thiene; Cayetano; Gaetano; Gaetanus; Gaetano dei Conti di Tiene; Gaetano da Thiene. I will make a daily prayer and ask for Cajetan to interceed for us both at this time.

God bless and pray for me as I do for you.

Dear Rayne: I hope your hubby’s interview went well. Know that if this one didn’t, one WILL for sure and he’ll be working in no time. Continue telling him how much you believe in him and how much you KNOW he’ll find something soon…Keep the Faith****

Believe me, I know what it’s like to have an unemployed hubby and a depressed one as well, who can’t quite “get off his duff” to even look for something. When the house payment and bills are due, this should be enough to get him going again And once again, even though you don’t want to hear it from me, I do say, don’t work, you have your job----keep the house and kids, make great meals, etc…let your dear hubby worry about the rest. I can’t tell you Rayne how much this has turned our family around for the better. ****And my sons now are saying to me, (a real breakthru)----“when I get married, I’m gonna make enough money so she doesn’t have to work, but can stay home with our children”…) YES. Pass along such values…

God Bless You~~~

You two seem to be each others’ best cheerleaders and I applaud you for seemingly doing all that’s in your power to meet this challenge! Will say a prayer for you both that a job offer comes to your husband soon.

Thank you all for your support! Sven and Sparkle I will be remembering you in my daily prayers.

My job is actually going very well right now. I only work 2 nights a week and sitting on a stool has made a huge difference. It’s kind of been nice to get out and interact with people again, our customers are usually really great and it’s a fun place to work.

I’m still going to look into disability but if hubby gets this job that will a great relief. It’s in God’s hands either way. He’s always taken care of us and I know He will see us through this too.

Thanks again. God Bless!

I’ll certainly be praying!
I’m praying for you too Abby. When you get a chance can you update me on your health situation? God Bless!

hi rayne,

I’ve been praying for you the past few weeks. I am so glad that things are starting to look up.

That is so awesome that your employer is supportive of your well being. Not many places are like that anymore. You are really blessed.

Wishing you the best of health and good luck in your husband’s job interview.

God Bless,
Lisa
