Lord, please forgive us our sins. Please, have mercy on the people that have experienced the hurricane. Have mercy on the departed and the ones suffering. Lord, please send them Your loving comfort in these hard times. Lord, you are an all loving God, have mercy on them. Amen. :signofcross:

Haven’t heard much about the damage that occured. I know there are some deaths and a lot of devastation. Continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Mexico

After really big storms, it can be a few days or more before we can even reach them (or them to reach us) by telephone – so it is a trial for my wife as well because she doesn’t know if everyone is OK.

We finally had a phone call on Wednesday or Thursday. The St. Thomas area in Jamaica wasn’t so bad off – a lot of debris, road blockage and no phones or electric for awhile is usual for hurricanes. I don’t know how the crops or livestock are. There is much more severe damage in the Kingston area.

My wife’s cousin who lives in Jamaica called from the hospital. She is very depressed and needs therapy or something. I’m not sure it is a result of the hurricane, but they had a very big one a few years ago. We don’t know when she will be better.

I guess my brother-in-law who was visiting in the Negril area is OK.
