You know, I pray, but where do they get these names? Why can’t they say Hurricane John considering “Ivan” is russian for “John”???

i liked it when they were only named after women but of course the femi-nazis complained. i also find it frustrating when weather forcasters predict where the hurricane will strike five days in advance but statistically can’t predict any weather outside of 48 hours with any accuracy. they keep shifting the strike cone westward. why not just make the cone gigantic to cover all possible areas until they have a higher level of confidence where it will make landfall?
