I’ve had similar experiences. Atheistic friends, who are really good friends, end up saying things about Catholicism. I hear them and think, “Do you really think we are so stupid to belong to a religion that would actually promote pedophilia? That we would side with the Nazis because the Pope wanted to save the Vatican art work? That we worship pagan forms because of the Egyptian obelisk stands in St. Peter’s Square?”
