What hymnal does your parish use? Do you like it? Mine uses Gather Comprehensive, by GIA. It has a god mix of traditional and contemporary hymns. I, personally, like it.

We use the English Catholic Hymnal. Lots of Latin and lots of traditional English Catholic hymns.

We use the Catholic Book of Worship III, which is the Canadian National hymnal.
We have old copies of Glory and Praise Comprehensive. We recently purchased Spirit and Song.
I’m not a huge fan of any of them, but the CBW is not too bad if you can ignore the ‘updated’ lyrics to some old hymns.

Gather, which includes the propers of Mass and all the readings for all the cycles, by GIA. I gather it’s rather a vehicle for Haugen and Hass, as about 177 hymns are not of that genre.
