In my high school our day begins with prayer and our national anthem. During this time, what am I to look at AND how should I behave?

Advance thanks :grinning:_

I understand of course I’m allowed to pray, but my question specifically concerns exactly how to go about doing that.

Bear in mind I’m in a class of say 35 kids and a teacher at the front scanning the room for misbehaviour (which can be intimidating…)

Basically everything plays over a public address ¶ system, so it’s not like I could see the person speaking as they recite our prayers.

I know my question is mundane, but what am I to do as I hear those prayers being recited - do I look down at my hands, around at classmates, at a blank spot on the wall etc?!?

I’m sorry if this is confusing and if you don’t get my drift but I really hope this helps…

And once again sorry for how mundane and pointless a question this sounds but I honestly don’t know what to do on this one…

THANKS 🤣

Fold your hands and bow your head? I assume everyone else is? Act like you do at Church ⛪

We used to have an elderly Scottish fellow give an emotional talk of his experience each year for our Anzac Day.Kids would fool around as it was lengthy and they had short attention spans and didn’t have manners. As it was out side I would foccus on a distant view or the garden if I couldn’t see the speaker.
