I accidentally read some of the words of Shahada in my head

so, first : I’m an overthinker and a person with huge amount of anxiety.
I was curious, because I watched a horror movie and mouth the word ‘bismillah’ (in my head) because the actress said it, and I thought, my… what did I just do, was that wrong. And then I searched for this Shahada because I am that weird when I got anxiety (I thought the word ‘bismillah’ was in it) and I read a few words of that Shahada in my head (only a few because I don’t want to read it anymore coz I am scared and I don’t want to read anything that’s dangerous to my faith) But ofc I was so wrong searching for that. So I want to know… and please don’t laugh , did I accidentally convert to Islam?
PS : I’m so full of anxiety that I thought saying the word ‘Shahada’ is wrong.

Calm down. You can’t accidentally convert to Islam (and you didn’t). As any Muslim will tell you, conversion requires genuine intent. Otherwise it’s just empty words.

Besides, why would you care? Even if Islam did teach that just saying the Shahada is enough for conversion (as some fundamentalist sects do), that wouldn’t change anything. You’re not bound by the teachings of any Islamic sect.

I have no idea why you would even panic abbot saying bismillah since it’s not specifically Islamic and is just the fluent way of saying the Arabic phrase bi ism Allah, “In God’s name”. Arabic-speaking Christians and Jews use the phrase.

I also feel like your post has a little bit of some sort of phobia of the Arabic language, which I advise you to lose immediately, as it’s slightly offensive to Arabic-speaking Christians like myself for you to panic over saying an Arabic word like it’s satanic or something.

Yes, I should stop overthinking things, and I’m not hating Arabic language, I’m sorry if I offended you.
I just have this problem in my brain when I often overthinking everything.
