I don’t believe there is a standard formula, except I think I remember Fr. Corapi saying that all catechesis must be Christ-centered. Simple … and hard, all at the same time.
Stories of the saints Also, have them read the Catechism, Church documents, Bible, and writings of the Church Fathers. Have a Crucifix and Icons in the room. Have the class say a prayer before class starts, and lead them in the prayer. Also, either Mass, or Benediction, or visiting the Eucharist in the Tabernacle (or in the Chapel) is very good to the soul.

live your life as a good Christian man, husband and father if that is your vocation, godly single man if not.
