Hello, so my situation is much different to the poor souls who have strayed away from catholicism. I came on this forum in hope that I can have people to help me. My parents will most likely not be upset at me, but my aunt who they might think turned me into a catholic. I am hoping some of you will give me advice, or even pray for me or request a prayer from a priest. I thank you all for just reading this and one more thing. I am 11 years old.
Also I will be updating this by the week, or day. Thank you
PLEASE DO NOT USE HARSH LANGUAGE AS I AM ONLY 11 YEARS OLD.

Welcome to the CA Forum @MarikaEzure!

Cheers! I’ve included you on my prayer list… BTW, What made you decide to become a Catholic/say that you’ll be a Catholic? Perhaps, it’s a lovely story!

Hello @MarikaEzure!

May God Bless you and May Holy Mary, Mother of God, and all the holy Saints and Angels of God intercede for you and your family…

Congratulation my friend,

You are chosen as Jesus said only if God The Father attracts a person, then only they will come to Jesus the correct way 🙂

Don’t worry,

I have just said a Hail Mary for you,

I will also include you and your family in all my prayers,

Don’t worry,

Jesus and our Mom will help us,

Me and over 1 billion Catholics in the world are with you,

And most importantly Jesus and Mama Mary is with you to help you,

Since you are praying to Jesus Christ who is living,

You can be sure that Jesus will help you…

I had a friend,

She was Catholic but not fervant,

Her dad was another religion,

Her mom was Catholic but not so close to the Church,

But inside maybe close because we don’t know the inside of people and we can’t judge…

Anyway,

She went for a Catholic Retreat,

And she stopped certain sins and her Character itself changed,

She made a promise in her young age that she will never call her mom, Mom,

But after the retreat,

She started loving her mom and dad and she started calling her mom, mom,

First her dad didn’t like it as he is not a Catholic,

But when her dad saw the change Jesus did in her life,

Her dad also was impressed,

So don’t worry about what your parents will say,

Jesus is in charge and Jesus will help you,

You can live the holy life Jesus is leading us to,

And your parents also will become like my friend’s parents,

Now my friend’s mom is super fervent Catholic,

Even during Covid times meeting Father and getting confessed etc,

So you can just say to your parents,

I want to be a Catholic because if we ask a scientist how can the body of St Francis Xavier be not destroyed for 400+ years,

Science doesn’t know,

I want to be a Catholic because if we ask a scientist how can the body of Carlo be not destroyed after 15 years,

Then science dones’t know,

There are no medicines which science have discovered that can do,

Also only fervent Catholics have had this privillage of body not becoming destroyed,

There are so many religions in the world,

But even their prophet or their leader,

Their body also after death destroyed,

Now the founder of our church Jesus Christ Resurrected and defeated death for us,

And told that everyone who follows Jesus have eternal life,

People who are athest,

Their body destroyed after dying,

Muslim people even their prophet,

Body destroyed,

hindu, budha etc,

After death their body destroyed,

But Jesus Body Ressurected on the 3rd day,

And Jesus said the same will happen if I follow Jesus,

Also there is proof that the saints of only the Catholic Church have their body intact even after 10 years, 50 years, 500 years etc

So you can explain to your parents this and see how it goes,

But what I learnt is,

It’s never about what you say,

It’s about Jesus plan,

So without Jesus giving you the grace,

At a young age that too,

You will never feel like becoming a Catholic,

So don’t worry,

Pray to Jesus and Mama Mary and say to your parents,

Don’t worry and I am so proud of you 🙂

Also I know you are young,

I don’t know how much you pray,

But any prayers you say,

Can you surrender for the conversion of sinners, for souls in purgatory and for big sinners who are dying at the moment ?

I mean let’s say you say a Rosary,

Then you can say,

I am surrendering this Rosary in the Name Of Jesus Christ for the conversion of sinners, for souls in purgatory, for big sinners who are dying at the moment and for my personal intentions…

If you can do that then we will be able to serve Jesus a lot,

But don’t worry,

Take your time and Jesus will slowly slowly take you to perfection,

Also I will pray for you so that your entire family will become Catholic and also Jesus will help you in this conversation…

Thank You and sorry for making this post so long…

Well, during the summer my aunt came over to teach me about god. She bought me my first rosary and I am so grateful. Sadly I have to hide my rosary everyday after use.

We cannot give you advice as you are a minor. Have this conversation with your parents and your aunt.

Here is a Catholic answers forum rule that relates to why we cannot give you advice.

1. Do not offer or solicit medical, psychiatric, psychological, or legal advice. Do not give advice that is contrary to civil law. Do not give advice to a minor that opposes the instruction of a parent or legal guardian. All such discussions should be directed to the proper authorities: parents, guardians, therapists, parish priests, or primary care providers.

I might sound harsh, I dont mean too.

Dylan, it seems that you’ll become a great Catholic kid through your aunt’s help! Keep it up and always pray to God! You and your family will be included in my prayers. Congratulations, Dylan! I’m looking for your baptism or confirmation if you already have baptism. I want to cheer you up and give you a :hugs: Always keep up the good work. God will be proud of you and we are happy for you as well ❤️ Take care and stay healthy always. Do you have any thoughts of being a priest? Just kidding… But we dunno, maybe you’ll be a well-known and a good priest! Through God’s help and grace! Let’s have a big amen! AMEN 🙏 God bless you always and may Mama Mary help to guide you to her Son, Jesus Christ ❤️

Im sure you will bring great graces to your family. Maybe one day your parents will follow your example and convert, as my father dis on his deathbed

I came into the Catholic Church in my 20s, and having parents that didn’t believe in God, I can tell you life WITH God is a hundred times better than without God.

Keep praying! And Welcome!
