I have been debating with JWs for a longtime now, and I am getting weary of them calling me a “pagan”.

I know I should have seen this, but when I try to reveal the Truth of the Catholic Church to them, it feels like I am “casting pearls to swine.”

It is very fatiguing.

I they won’t listen, and you are getting discouraged, maybe it’s time to do something else. Remember we were told not to do the pearls before swine thing.

Would you be despaired by playing a song on a cd over and over? That is all someone does who is brainwashed; repeat over and over what is etched thereupon. Christianity isn’t easy and we are called to bear those annoyances. Sometimes, it isn’t easy to be patient, loving or kind while doing so.😉

Speak your truth and if they do not invite you to continue, shake the dust off your sandels and move on.

I know how you feel…I’ve been trying to tell people the truth for years and they just don’t get it…

A long time ago, Jehovahs used to come here. I asked God what
to say, and wrote down 4 scripture verses. It’s been so long ago,
I only remember one of them. It was when Jesus said, “I am the
way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by
me.” I think one of the others said something about “you study
the scriptures because you think you have life in them…even
the demons believe, and shudder”.

The next time they came, I was excited. I invited them in, they
were both women. They did give me time to share my 4 verses.
They were friendly when they left, and said they would visit again
soon, but they never did. I’ve seen Jehovah’s on the street often,
but they haven’t come to my house and I don’t know why. I know that I was nice.

Anyway… I believe it’s God who converts people, not us. They
can only be converted when they are ready. It’s up to us not to
get in His way. Even if you don’t witness someone’s conversion
at your words, it doesn’t mean you’re not important in that
person’s conversion. As long as you don’t mess things up,
they are still on the road to conversion, God has sent them to
the home of a Catholic.

To me, the hardest part of Corinthians 13 on love, is not to be
offended. I once read that when someone says something
negative to you, it takes an average of 19 positive statements to make up for it so you feel better.

So here goes… You are not a pagan.
You are a treasured member of the One True Church!
You are a treasured member of the One True Church!
You are a treasured member of the One True Church!
You are a treasured member of the One True Church!
You are a treasured member of the One True Church!

You are a treasured member of the One True Church!
You are a treasured member of the One True Church!
You are a treasured member of the One True Church!
You are a treasured member of the One True Church!
You are a treasured member of the One True Church!

You knew that already, but I hope you feel better now. Have
you asked God what to say? …blessings on you…

Pay them to leave you alone, but tell them you are only doing it once. It works for me. Every time.

By the way, they have the power to erase your name from their book of life and then leave you alone. Their version of shaking the dust from their feet. You can try doing that.

My problem isn’t JWs. We get along just fine contrary to what my advice might suggest. My problem is the attacks against the Church from within.

AMEN

Talking with others outside of the Catholic Church is a slow process if you are trying to convert them, which only God can do, if it gets to a point of frustration, then it is time to leave it alone. When I was outside of the Church it took God speaking to me in many, many different ways and through many people, finally the Holy Spirit gave me the wisdom to put all the dots together and the dots made a sign pointing down the road to Rome.
