Why post this in the Traditional Catholic forum? .

Because I thought it was the right place to put it.

What do you hope to accomplish by doing it? I don’t have a crisis of faith and personally I think it shows poor taste on your part to post this here…if you have a crisis of faith, talk with a priest or someone else…it is sad your faith was so weak that the actions of a few individuals caused you to lose it. “Oh ye of little faith…” If that is how your faith was already…then it is a good chance you have been a CINO for a very long time…just only now you are able to admit it…if you put your faith into action and lived it, the actions of a few would not be able to discourage you.

DO you know me at all ? I forgive you for accusing me of “poor taste” in posting this here. Is your faith so strong and are you so perfect that you never have questions ?

There have been times when I was a CINO and there have been times when on a Sunday afternoon I would spend 2-3 hrs at the chapel of a local Catholic hospital. So, yes, my exercise of my faith has been inconsistent. You ever prayed and fasted for someone only to see them die and wonder if they are in heaven or hell ?

You can make all the judgements about how I fail to put my faith into action but you are incorrect.

I am a person who has accused and referred to many as Catholics in Name Only and I was faced with the thoughts around the area of how well do I live out my faith and the teachings in the catechism of the Catholic Church. I saw that there are times I am
somewhat of a cafeteria Catholic. So, I came to the conclusion that as much as I accuse others of being a cafeteria Catholic and CINO, I can only conclude that so am I.

You can emotionally “beat me up” by your statements, but I do know the truth and I believe I did the right thing in posting what I posted. I pray that God show you more mercy than you showed me. I forgive you Michaeldaniels. I pray that anyone I have wronged will forgive me.
