Hi

Jesus had got baptized at hands of John the Baptist to show pictorially that Jesus’ teachings and legacy was one with John the Baptist. John the Baptist was a Jew and believed in ONE, GodAllahYHWH; he never believed in Trinity or any “Word became flesh”, in my opinion. This showed in action that Jesus was a Jew, Jesus would remain a steadfast Jew whole his life and won’t convert to any Christianity in future, in my opinion. John the Baptist and Jesus were one with GodAllahYHWH, in this sense. This is my opinion only.

I believe like John the Baptist; as also like Jesus that there is only ONE, GodAllahYHWH, there is no Trinity and no “Word became flesh”. This is my opinion only.

In this sense I and Jesus and John the Baptist are one. This is my opinion only.

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran.

Thanks

Your threads are nothing short of rude and compulsion. You dare to tell us Catholics what we believe! How much arrogence do you have?

But you, unlike Jesus, wouldn’t go so far as to claim that a person who sees you sees Muhammad, John the Baptist, God the Father or anyone else, would you?

And you wouldn’t permit me to fall at your feet as Thomas did to Jesus and call you ‘My Lord and My God’, would you?

Now you are getting nearer to the real Jesus than you ever thought. If you mean you are one with John the Baptist and Jesus because you believe their teaching then that’s encouraging. Same belief with them.

John the Baptist was the great prophet who prepared the way for Jesus. “Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.”

He was the one who said Jesus is the Lamb of God, that now that Jesus has come he must decrease and Jesus increase.

He also said that **he was not worthy **even to untie the strings of Jesus sandals.

His mother was the one who declared that Mary was the mother of her Lord and when Mary came to visit her, the fetal John leapt with joy in his mother womb.

He said the he baptized with water but Jesus baptized with the Holy Spirit.

By background they were both observing Jews who were expecting the fulfillment of the Messiah. Jesus is this fulfillment.

I am she as you are he as you are me
And we are all together
See how they run like pigs from a gun
See how they fly, I’m crying

I AM THE WALRUS!!!

Agreed! It is very tiring but the kid seems to have a “mental deficiency” that his prophet Mo erroneosly attributed to women in general. 🤷

So it is not just the women. No wonder his sahaba (companions) could easily swallowed every phlegm spewing out from his mouth.

If it wasnt for the prophets wives nagging him about his infidelities and inconsistencies in what he says and does he probably would not have been inspired to write so disparagingly about women in general. The simple fact is he was a master manipulator who could only control his women by putting the fear of God into them. Men were attracted to him because he empowered them over their wives and other women eg “right hand possessions” in every which way. Just my lowly opinion of course :D.

You might love the Jesus of the Coran, but you don’t love the REAL Jesus of the Bible.

John the Baptist believed in the God who spoke this:

26 And he said: Let us make man to our image and likeness:

Not many gods, One God - but having more than one Person.

Jesus believed what St. John believed.

This is not my opinion.
