I have been reading these posts for a few days now and I think I could ask you to pray for my situation and maybe have some advice. Last August, my 16 year old daughter had a car accident. A young man had pulled out onto the highway and she had to swerve to miss him. She was taken to the hospital with 5 fractured vertabra, 2 broken ribs and her scapular (shoulder bone) was shattered such as a china plate would shatter. The scapular required surgery to piece back together and they had to stitch the ligaments back onto the bone as they were completely separated from the bone. She spent 3 days in intensive care and 12 days total in the hospital. She has had months of physical therapy. I did not carry any insurance for her so the bills are frightening. I wanted this young man’s insurance to cover her bills because he is the one who caused this accident. He denies fault and there were no witnesses. I contacted an attorney but I think things are running too slow. The only thing that has taken place is the young mans insurance company has done a phone interview with my daughter and subsequently denied any payment. Now my attorney said they will file a law suit against this young man and take his deposition.
I ask for prayer for a speedy and successful completion of this financial mess I am in. It is about $80,000.
I would like to add some background…Because I was not with God, I did not live a good life in the past and was with the wrong type of man. He is still not in my daughters life and does not pay any support and does not carry her on insurance, even though the divorce papers state that he is suppose to. I don’t want him back in our lives because he still lives an evil life style. I apologize for offending you with this information but be assured that I am now very faithful to God and live a good life because by His grace, somehow He helped me find the Truth.
Thank you for your prayer and I would love any advice.

I will certainly pray for your situation. I don’t know that much about insurance but of the people I know who have had car accident claims with hospital bills it does take a long time. I’ve heard of hospitals especially Catholic hospitals that will forgive at least a portion of the debt. They use it as a tax deduction. Maybe they would be willing to work with you. Thank God your daughter survived.

Hello. Know that both you and your daughter are certainly in my prayers, although I have no advice for you save to continue your prayers.

Pax,
Fred

I ask God to bring miricle of health for your daughter and wealth for you in Jesus name . Give all cares to Jesus

I’ll pray for your situation. And no, we don’t take offense to what you’ve told us. We’re all sinners.:console:

Praying for your intentions. Hang in there and see if you can work something out with the hospital and doctors re payment. It’s not unusual for insurance companies to deny these type of claims. They will try to wear you down. Hopefully your attorney can make them pay.

I will pray for you. You have a right to decide your own life. I will pray for your daughter also.

faith_ful1953us,

My family has gone through something similar. It was not a car accident but my Dad fell 13 feet and has brain damage. His employer did not pay workman comp and it was a battle, both medically and financially. We never had money and for this to have happened seemed to add to our worries. i had to take on the financial responsibility. i being the only female also had to take care of my Dad. Trust me that i worried and prayed constantly. For us, it happened for a reason. God pulled us through! We do not have alot of money, but because of God we always had food on the table, a roof to sleep under. It has been 17 years now and you would not know that he was hurt at all. We still have food on the table and the same roof over our heads. The best thing that happened is that my Dad, knows God now. He goes to Church and they even let him work there. There are still bumps but with God we will make it through.

i will pray for your daughter and for you. Trust in Him, talk to Him, He will help you through. It just does work out. Sorry for the long post, i needed to tell you that God does hear us.

Your Sister in Christ,
Chyna

Advice: God loves you both soooooooooooooooooo much and he is not up in heaven judging you, he is loving you. As far as the bills go my husband almost died a few years ago and he has insurance, and we evenutually ended up filing for bankruptcy. Usually hospital bills can not ruin your credit, but these day they are crazy out of control trying to collect money. I would place all these bills in God’s hands and leave them there. Know that God knows what you need and will provide in his Divine Providence.

Forgive, Forgive, Forgive all those who have hurt you and ask God to giving you the strength to as he has forgiven. This takes an act of your will to forgive. Not one of those lovey dovey loves, but knowing you have forgiven with your heart. You will then see miracles happening.

Trust Jesus!

Blessings,
Linda

I will keep your daughter and all involved in this situation in prayer.

Oh, I am very sure that you have not offended one single person …and if humility is the foundation of the spiritual life, then your foundation is very strong. I thank The Lord for you.
Rest assured that we are all sinners without exemption, only the nature of our sin may vary:) !..

Blessings and warm regards…keeping all in prayer…Barb:)
