I believe In God, is there a reason for this?

I used to think if you worked really hard on something you would eventually understand. I try my hardest to be the best person I can be. Faults I thought I overcame rear their ugly heads back in again. Why can’t humans make themselves perfect? I always wonder there are some things no matter how hard I try, I CANNOT DO, for another person it is completely EFFORTLESS. I am not sure if this is heresy or not, BUT I BELIEVE BY NATURE PEOPLE ARE PRONE TO CERTAIN SINS. I always wonder why? Why are there certain sins I fall victim to easier than others? Why are certain reason some people sins are VERY EVIDENT, while others are very hidden, deep-rooted and almost difficult to identify?

The devil knows what to tempt us with. He probably studies our weaknesses from when we are babies & uses them to make us sin. Ex.: A child who lives in a neighborhood where there is drug addiction will be easier to tempt in that direction. A child who grows up with friends who steal will be an easy target for the devil to tempt in that sin.

don’t stop praying and asking God for the grace and strength to stop sinning. remember the parable of the unjust judge! God loves persistence, it shows true faith. worse off is the person who thinks he has no sin. have mercy on me Lord, a sinner. God bless.

Much of Catholicism involves mystery. Don’t expect to understand everything. If we could always see it all with our intellect, then it wouldn’t be Faith. it is all reasonable to a perfect intellect but our minds are darkened. Just trust God when you don’t fully understand.

God makes us all different. Too much sameness would be soooo boring.

Unfortunately for me, I was sucked into a world that had nothing at all to do with why one would have to ask about reasons to believe in God.
