I Ching by Hua-Ching Ni; overlap with Holy Scripture?

Hello,

An acquaintance ( x Catholic ) sent me this:

“One cannot avoid life by hiding in the mountains, because life
exists there as well. But one can avoid the disturbance of the external world by remaining centered and calm like a mountain.”
– I Ching by Hua-Ching Ni

Would anyone know of a Holy Scripture that would deliver the same message? I do like that Chinese proverb, however, I would like to return to her a Christian equivocate, but can not find one.

I don’t know how exact you want it to be… but here’s something roughly close:

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble with its tumult.

Beginning of Psalm 46. Is that close enough? I’m not sure I understand the theme of the proverb, is it about peace in times of trouble? If so maybe the beginning of psalm 91 as well?

Phillipians 4:6 Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 4:7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 4:9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace will be with you.

The things I picked up on in that quote made me think of these verses:

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

“I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth” (Joihn 17:13-19).
