I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when I read this article:

Remember the field day the media had with the Church when the scandal over priests molesting children broke? Remember the pontificating on CNN, ABC, CBS, BBC etc?
But what is doing more damage to children across the globe?
A small number of rotten priests?
Or
The oversexualised media?
No, I’m not making excuses for the priests. But we recognized the problem and put our house in order.
Now who is going to put the media house in order?
Meanwhile the American Psychological Association concludes, though don’t put it this way, that Church teaching on sexuality may not be altogether wrong after all.
Maybe permissiveness really does harm children.
What a radical new thought!
