I Finally Submitted My Resignation To The Mormon Church

Well, I didn’t really get any replies from them and they haven’t sent missionaries to my door either (except for once when I requested them because I was doubting Catholicism again). See, I threatened legal action if they tried to harass me and so they have left me alone for the most part. The only time that any Mormons ever even interact with me now is when I speak to a friend of mine who is a Mormon. But I do not speak about religion with her anymore.

Welcome home Holly. You are part of the worlds biggest family here. Gods family. The catholic church is not like a club like many churches, it’s family. So relax because you’re with family. God bless you.

Congratulations.

I left the Mormon religion after more than a decade of being a member. I left because as I studied deeper and deeper into it, I realized it was not what it claimed to be. I’ve been out for nearly 10 years now. (as well as my husband and five children) However we did not officially resign…we were done with jumping through the hoops that the LDS church put before us. But I think it is a personal decision (formally resigning or just leaving and forsaking Mormonism. But they can still formally count as members all those who do not officially resign which greatly inflates the numbers they claim).

I am happy for you.

I love how the Catholic church requires study and TIME before conversion. This is “home” for me and also is Truth.
