Hi everyone hope your all well and enjoying the Advent season.

I just thought I would share a couple of things with you guys. I don’t really know what to call my experience except that I was guided.

I was baptised church of England and was not really shown a good Christian life and rarely went to church. I used to say to myself, why am I here, what is my purpose in life. And the answer was nothing as far as I could see. I started going to a none Catholic Church a while back and only went now and then. I never took communion as 1. I never felt ready to commit as I had no faith so to speak and 2. something was telling me in my heart not to take it.
I chose the Catholic faith a couple of years ago and I am taking my first confession on Saturday :). On my journey I have found out that i made the correct choice not taking communion and also why I am alive, To know, love and serve God in this life and to be happy with God in heaven forever 🙂

I found and I am still finding all my answer with the Catholic faith. My life has change so much now and I am able to help show my family the way.
I am now 43 and wish I had found my way earlier.
Anyway I just thought I would share this with you guys.
Please excuse my grammar, it’s not great 🙂

God bless

What a great Testimony!

May God richly bless you and your family.

Hello ‘Jonni Be Good’ :tiphat:,
Welcome to Catholic Answers
It was great to learn about your spiritual journey, really inspiring testimony,
I found and I am still finding all my answer with the Catholic faith.
:yup: I am sure you will find many answers here. I am cradle Catholic and yet everyday I am getting surprised by exciting things about my faith. As Pope Francis says, we should let ourselves be surprised by God like Mary did, or as you said, be guided.
I wish you a great sacrament of confession.
