I have trouble with prayer

Sorry for late reply i asked do i have to say in prayer to our lord for whu i pray and then mention lord s prayer enough times or hail mary example 3 times
 
Prayer is not a formula. Say 1 of this prayer and 3 of that prayer or you are not doing it right.

There are formal prayers, like the Rosary, but it is also important to simply talk to God as you would to your best friend.
 
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
