From my parish priest that Pius XII is supposed to be declared Blessed on the first Sunday of Advent. Can anyone confirm or disprove this?

I can’t seem to find anything definitive on a quick search. But the Vatican doesn’t have him listed as blessed yet.
The best I could find was a recommendation to Pope Benedict that he be declared “venerable”.

I hope it’s true. There has been a flurry of information being released in the last year or so regarding the truth of his sanctity and putting to rest the slanderous myths. Sadly, I think many people will continue to buy into the myths because that’s what they want to believe
