Legal or general justice, iustitia legalis, iustita generalis, i.e. being concerned with ordering the actions of an individual to the societal whole/ common good, I always heard it was contributive justice, but what they hey.

This seems to be the least sexy of the three aspects of the virtue of justice, and Jean Porter and Josef Pieper dont have very much on it. John Finnis. . .was illegible to me and there wasnt a huge amount either. May and Grisez werent helpful either.

I was using a good book from the fifties but my director says since im specializing in a very contemporary area I should try and stay post vatican II which now since it was mentioned made alot of sense.

Im using a Thomistic model of justice so I was wondering if anybody knew any really good books/articles/journals that are contemporary and good?

Cheers and feel free to pray for me!
