I finally got the motivation to get off my lazy duff and start attending RCIA class at Our Lady of Peace in Santa Clara, CA.

I just wanted to share. I’m quite excited about it! I am eager to come into full communion with the Church.

So, is anyone else in RCIA? Or does anyone else go to the same parish? 🙂

Lurker, I curious. Your profile says you’re located in Seattle. Isn’t Santa Clara a wee little bit of a commute for RCIA?

Just wonderin’

I went through the RCIA process last year, and this year I am on the team. 👍

You are embarking on a journey of faith and love that will last a lifetime. The friends you will make in RCIA will last forever, for you will all be sharing in that very special bond and will be traveling towards the same goal, full communion with the church. 👍

May God bless you on your journey and welcome to the family.

I moved to Santa Clara in September. I just need to update my profile. 🙂

My wife is in RCIA so she can come into full communion this Easter. The class is really great and we are really enjoying it.
Pax vobiscum,

I’m in RCIA and our group is wonderful. The team puts so much time and effort into the classes. Even when they aren’t teaching, most of them come to our weekly sessions. We had the “Rite of Sending” and “Rite of Acceptance” last week in our Cathedral. It was incredibly moving and beautiful.

My only regret is not realizing I was adrift until last year. I’m very happy to be on the far turn and heading Home:)

Welcome! I LOVE RCIA!! We’re winding down now, as it gets closer to Easter Vigil, I’m getting so excited. As excited as I am about becoming Catholic, I think I’m going to be upset about not having classes anymore. I’m going to have to find a Bible study group or some other Church group to meet with. I’ve made some good friends and really have learned A LOT!

Pax vobiscum,
Are you her sponser? I am asking because I have been praying for my husbands conversion.🙂

Lurker- Welcome home!!! May God bless you on this wonderful journey!
I went through RCIA 10 years ago. Now I sponsor and am a memeber of the team.

I’ll pray for him too, never give up! It took me about 15 years to finally do it, and I did it on my own, and I think I shocked my husband, but I can tell by the look on his face, he is very proud and happy that I have finally heard the call and did it.

I am currently in RCIA. 😃 Can’t wait for the Easter Vigil to become a full fledged member of the team! I have found this experiance to be most fulfilling. I hope to continue and become a member of the RCIA team.
